Pleasanton Coach Announces “Building Bridges” Support Group for Parents of Estranged Adult Children

Pleasanton-based certified parent and health & wellness coach Siah Fried is forming Building Bridges, a monthly online support group for parents navigating distance or no contact with an adult child. We will meet virtually on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM beginning November 17th, 2026.

Inspired by requests from parents she has coached and others interested in her services, the group offers a place to connect, share experiences, and know they aren’t alone. Fried will facilitate conversations about moving forward in one’s own life while leaving room for connection and respecting an adult child’s boundaries.

“I’ve supported parents navigating estrangement and grew up seeing its impact in my own family,” said Fried. “I wanted to create a small group where parents can connect with others who understand.”

The group will include 4–6 participants and meet online once a month for 60 minutes. The fee is $55 per family,  per meeting. Dates and times will be coordinated with interested participants. Email or call to sign up.
