Family Doctor Joins TriValley Medical Associates
 
Frank Lin, M.D., a family medicine doctor with more than 20 years of experience, has joined TriValley Medical Associates, with offices in Livermore and Pleasanton.
Dr. Lin is accepting new patients and offers evening and Saturday hours, in addition to traditional hours during the week at both offices. Dr. Lin is trilingual, speaking Mandarin and Taiwanese, in addition to English. He joins practice founders T. Peter Wong, M.D., and Jeffrey Wherry, M.D.
“Dr Lin brings a wealth of knowledge and many years of experience caring for East Bay patients,” said Dr. Wong. “He is multilingual and highly regarded by patients and former colleagues and we are honored to welcome him to private practice.”
Dr. Lin received his medical degree from Chicago Medical School/Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine Science. He served his residency with Dignity Health in Sacramento. He spent nearly 20 years with Palo Alto Medical Foundation/Sutter Health in Dublin before transitioning to private practice.
Dr. Lin, who makes his home in Pleasanton, has expertise in treating a broad spectrum of family medicine, including adolescent care, women’s health, geriatric medicine, and is well trained in treating obesity, diabetes, hypertension and various other acute and chronic illnesses.

We are your medical home.” he said. “My practice is built on the belief that a doctor should be much more than a source for prescriptions and labs. I am your coach, your confidant, and your teammate. I take pride in being a deep listener who can efficiently navigate complex health histories to find the best path forward.”
Dr. Lin moved to California from Taiwan when he was 10 years old and spent his teen years in Piedmont. A key lesson he learned early on was that “the core of happiness comes from helping others.”

Dr. Lin has earned numerous five-star rankings on the Press Ganey review site for thoroughness of examination, ability to answer questions, overall general feedback and involving patients in decisions of their care.
Dr. Lin calls himself a lifelong learner and has been trained in several martial arts, including Hapkido, Brazilian jujitsu and judo. When not working, he enjoys listening to music, traveling and spending time with his two teenagers.

The practice recently moved from Dublin to a new office in Pleasanton at 6155 Stoneridge Drive, Suite 101. The Livermore office is located at 87 Fenton St. Suite 210.
