Pleasanton Teen Crowned 2025 Young Pizza Maker of the Year at National Competition

Pleasanton, CA — November 2025 — Local teen Zoe Zabrowski has earned national acclaim after taking 1st place in the Young Pizza Makers Competition at the Florida Restaurant Show / Pizza Tomorrow Summit in Orlando, officially being named the 2025 Young Pizza Maker of the Year.
Zoe is the daughter of Mark and Kira Zabrowski, owners and operators of Much Ado About Pizza in Pleasanton. Competing against skilled young pizzaioli from across the country, she impressed judges with her technique, creativity, and determination—earning the top spot in one of the pizza industry’s premier youth competitions.
“This win means so much because I’ve watched Zoe pour her heart into this,” said her mother, Kira Zabrowski. “She worked so hard on creating her pizza, and even when she had failed attempts, she never gave up. Her perseverance and passion are what make this moment so special. We couldn’t be more proud.”
During the event, Zoe also received a special honor from the U.S. Pizza Team (USPT), who presented her with a Pizza Prodigy recognition and chef coat, celebrating her standout talent and bright future in the industry.
The Pleasanton community will soon get the chance to celebrate with her. Much Ado About Pizza will be featuring Zoe’s award-winning creation, the “Pig in Paradise,” as an upcoming limited-time Spotlight Pizza.
