Local Teen to Represent Pleasanton in National Pizza Competition - Let's Support Her!
As proud members of the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce, we’re excited to share some wonderful news with our community. Our daughter, Zoe, just 15 years old, has the opportunity to compete this November in the Young Pizza Makers Contest at the Pizza Tomorrow Summit in Orlando, Florida. This national event shines a spotlight on the next generation of pizzaioli, and Zoe will proudly represent both our family-owned pizzeria, Much Ado About Pizza, and the Pleasanton spirit of hard work, creativity, and community pride.
As a small business, we’ll be closing our shop for a week , November 9-14, to support Zoe in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. To help make her journey possible and memorable, we are inviting community support and in-kind donations from local partners.
Here are a few specific ways businesses could help:
• Airfare & hotel support to get Zoe to Orlando
• Meals & competition fees during the week-long event
• Ingredients & supplies for her competition pizza
• Sponsor logos or patches we’d proudly display on Zoe’s chef coat during the competition
• Encouragement items like gift cards, travel swag, or small tokens to help make her trip more memorable
Pleasanton can rally behind Zoe and cheer her on as she brings our town’s passion and creativity to a national stage.
Thank you for considering.
With gratitude,
Kira & Mark Zabrowski
