All caffè sospeso purchased in the month of May go directly towards a Tri-Valley organization that serves veterans within the community.
PLEASANTON, CA — Inklings Coffee is proud to announce that beginning May 1, 2026, all sospesos purchased during the month of May will go directly towards a Tri-Valley organization, allowing them to give coffees to veterans who need it most.
Costing $4.25, the caffè sospeso— Italian for "suspended coffee" — is a centuries-old tradition in which a customer pays for an extra cup of coffee in advance, leaving it suspended for a stranger in need. This May, every caffè sospeso purchased at Inklings will be held for a local veteran to redeem, free of charge.
"We’re fortunate to serve so many veterans who step through our doors each day. Memorial Day is a time to pause and honor the people who gave everything for this community and this country,” said Kylia Johnson, General Manager of Inklings. “By gifting a caffè sospeso, you are helping us carry out our mission to Seek The Good of the City, one cup of coffee at a time.”
