(Hayward, Calif., March 5, 2026) - Chabot College will host a free Career Education Open House on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at its campus located at 25555 Hesperian Blvd., Hayward. The event is open to the public and welcomes individuals of all ages and stages who are exploring career pathways, hands-on training, or new professional opportunities.

Attendees will be able to step inside real college labs, meet expert faculty, listen to presentations, and explore 20 hands-on Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. The event will also provide information on training for in-demand jobs, along with free food and giveaways.
“Career Education at Chabot College directly connects learning to opportunity,” said Robin Galas, project manager of career and technical education at Chabot. “This open house is a chance for our community to see firsthand how our programs prepare students for high-demand careers through real-world labs, expert instruction, and clear pathways to employment. We’re excited to open our doors and help people discover what’s possible for their future.”
Chabot College’s Career Education (CE) programs, also known as Career Technical Education, offer hands-on, industry-aligned pathways designed for students ready to launch or advance careers in growing fields. With programs spanning sectors such as healthcare, industrial technology, business, digital media, and public safety, CE combines practical skills training with academic credentials including certificates and degrees.
Taught by faculty with real industry experience and connections, CE prepares students for today’s workforce with skill-building labs, employer partnerships, and direct access to career opportunities. Whether entering a new profession or enhancing existing skills, CE at Chabot College helps learners turn education into job-ready competencies.
