About Us

Founded in 1957 by four employees of the Radiation Lab in Livermore, UNCLE Credit Union was originally known as the Radiation Laboratory Livermore Credit Union, and we provided financial services to the entire community of Laboratory employees. Times change, and so did we. Now known as UNCLE Credit Union (for University of California Livermore Employees), we are a $735 million financial institution serving over 34,000 members.

Our history of community service sets us apart, and to this day, we are recognized for our community involvement, our exceptional and friendly service, 24/7 convenience through services such as mobile banking and eDeposit, plus a full array of financial products including mortgage loans and investments. We are proud to offer membership to anyone who lives, regularly works, attends school, or regularly worships in Alameda, Contra Costa, San Joaquin, or Stanislaus Counties.
