Under direction of the Deputy Director of Passenger Experience and Communications, the Transportation Research Analyst is responsible for performing research, gathering and analyzing data and statistics to assist in marketing, expansion of services and the growth of ridership for San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission (SJRRC), which owns and operates the Altamont Corridor Express (ACE) Rail service, and San Joaquin Joint Powers Authority (SJJPA), which is the policy-making body and administering agency for the San Joaquins Intercity Passenger Rail service. Incumbent has an understanding of data and data visualization and is proficient in Microsoft Excel.
