Webinar on Tue 5/31: Save and Go Green with Real Dishes for Dine-in
Does your business serve dine-in customers in single-use disposables? Interested in exploring more sustainable, reusable foodware alternatives and save money? Join StopWaste's webinar on Tues, May 31, 2-3PM to hear from fellow businesses that have made the switch and to learn about Rethink Disposable, a program that offer technical and financial support.
Clean Water Fund and StopWaste are working with food providers throughout Alameda County (Chochenyo and Muwekma Ohlone lands) to prioritize dining service that rely on reusable dishes over single-use disposable serviceware. For the past year, Clean Water Fund's ReThink Disposable team has continued to support Alameda County food businesses to reduce waste and save money by saying "YES!" to reusables.
Join the discussion with restaurant owners, StopWaste, and ReThink Disposable on the challenges and victories of reusable foodware advocacy in the food industry and the safety of reusables during the pandemic. We will premiere a mini-documentary of two Reuse Champions and their journey as small business owners through the pandemic:
-- Anh Nguyen, owner of Cam Anh Deli
-- Leena Lim, owner of Malaya Tea Room.
