Linda Curtis will demonstrate and illustrate her technique using watermedia gesso black & gold on wood panels.She will use casein in combination with other media. Casein is the exciting medium being rediscovered by artists painting in all mediums. Casein is vibrant and exciting to use. It feels like painting with butter. (The binder for casein is milk protein). It doesn't fade, peel or crack. Nine-thousand-year-old casein cave paintings have been discovered in Asia. It doesn't need sealing or UV protection after drying.
