The CalSavers deadline is quickly approaching. California now requires that small business owners offer a retirement plan.
- All employers with 5 or more California-based employees are required to offer a retirement plan, if they are not doing so already.
- Regardless if employees are interested or not, employers still need to have a retirement plan in place to meet the state compliance.
- You have retirement plan options available to you to meet the state’s criteria.
- The deadline is June 30, 2022.
