DESCRIPTION:Please join the General Manager and the Board of Directors of the East Bay Regional Park District for a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Interpretive Pavilion at Shadow Cliffs Regional Recreation Area in Pleasanton.\n\n\n\nWednesday\, December 14\, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.\n\nShadow Cliffs Regional Recreation Area\n\n2500 Stanley Boulevard\, Pleasanton\, CA 94566\n\nView PDF of Ribbon Cutting Invitation\n\n\n\nJoin the East Bay Regional Park District for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the long-awaited completion of the Interpretive Pavilion at Shadow Cliffs Regional Recreation Area in Pleasanton. The newly installed 1\,000-square-foot outdoor exhibit provides a staging area and gateway to the park's 116-acre nature area that incorporates trails for walking\, hiking\, biking\, and nature watching. With a shaded and weather-protected gathering spot for all visitors   including children participating in year-round school field trips and programs led by the Park District's interpretive staff   the pavilion features a series of educational exhibits about the natural and cultural history of Shadow Cliffs' native plants\, wildlife\, and environmental sustainability.\n\n\n\nPlease RSVP to Brenda Montano at bmontano@ebparks.org or (510) 544-2199.\n\n\n\nDirections\n\nTake the Bernal Avenue exit toward Pleasanton turning east on Bernal Avenue.
