| Tony Molatore is the owner of Berkeley Giclee\, one of oldest \;artwork repro services in the Bay Area. Tony first learned \;darkroom procedure from his dad as a child. He worked in pro labs in \;San Francisco in the 1980s and started his own business in the 90s. \;He feels fortunate to have bridged the analog to digital workflow \;because the older tradition helps you to see and understand color \;theory which is most useful in today'\;s printing. Tony is a Cal \;Grad\, and has a Masters Degree from Davis. \;Tony will offer a brief history of Giclee printing\, much of which \;is true\, discuss the truth and myth color calibration\, and why your \;iPad files always print dark. \;There \;will be \;samples of prints on \;watercolor paper\, canvas and wood panels to look at.
