Info Event about Mandatory Recycling, February 23

Mandatory Recycling Ordinance:
Feb 23 - Info Event for Pleasanton Businesses


As of January 1, 2017, the Mandatory Recycling Ordinance requires ALL Pleasanton businesses and institutions (regardless of garbage service volume) to: 
•    Provide recycling service. Additionally, businesses that generate significant quantities of food scraps/organics must provide organics collection service.
•    Ensure recyclables are properly separated and no longer disposed of in the garbage. For businesses that generate significant quantities of organics, food scraps/organics must also be kept separate from the garbage.
Join the Alameda County Waste Management Authority (StopWaste), Pleasanton Garbage Service and the City of Pleasanton to learn how these new requirements will affect you!
