In partnership with the City of Pleasanton, the Chamber is convening a panel of the best and brightest chief executives at its annual economic development luncheon so you can hear firsthand “what’s next” in technology, business and the economy. 

“For 60 minutes, they’ll talk candidly about their keys to success, what keeps them up at night and why they headquartered in Pleasanton,” said program organizer James Paxson, GM for Hacienda and chairman of the board for the Chamber.

Lynn Fischer, CEO of Title 21 Health Solutions

E. James Macias, President/CEO of Fulcrum Bio Energ
y one of the most successful new biofuel companies in the nation is headquartered in Pleasanton, and from the start Jim has been the architect of Fulcrum’s strategy, execution and most recently, an investment of $30 million from United Airlines to participate in Fulcrum’s waste to jet fuel plants across the country and the opportunity for long-term agreements to purchase 90 million gallons per year of Fulcrum’s cost competitive, sustainable jet fuel.


BJ Hardman is Chairman/CEO of Sanarus Technologies
, a position she has held for more than five years.  She has broad executive and financial management experience with J&J, Argonaut Group, KPMG Consulting, GE Capital and PointStar Consulting. Her Industry experience includes biomedical devices, financial services, manufacturing, and distribution. BJ holds a MS in Business Management, Sloan Fellow at Stanford University and a BA in Finance from California State University, San Jose. Hardman says, “We pride ourselves in pioneering minimally invasive breast care solutions as the clear leader in the field and in clinical studies for both benign tumors and breast cancer.” Sanarus is a woman-owned business, headquartered in Pleasanton, and all their products are manufactured in the U.S.A.


Tim Cabral, CFO of Veeva Systems
a leading cloud-based software company for the global life sciences industry committed to innovation, product excellence, and customer success. With more than 20 years in the industry, Tim’s expertise has been instrumental to Veeva’s profitability both before and after going public two years ago as they expand operations around the world from headquarters here in Pleasanton.

, Chairman of the Board of the Bank of San Francisco and retired President/ CEO of Kelly-Moore Paint Company. Joe leads his own international business advisory company specializing in strategic planning, operations, sales and marketing, executive coaching, mergers and acquisitions that frequently takes him to Europe, South America, Asia, Canada, Mexico and throughout the U.S.  A Pleasanton resident, Joe voluntarily mentors small business owners and shares best practices over his more than 40 successful years in business leadership.
